This is Karsten “Kasi” Gesing Triumph, the ‘Desert Slut’. Karsten is a professional chef and owner of “Madame Janette” restaurant on the Caribbean island of Aruba. To ease away the stress of the kitchen Karsten collects and modifies motorcycles. Kasi informs me there is a big Harley Davidson presence on the island, and ‘Desert Slut’ probably being the ‘only Triumph’.

Karsten writes  “Greets From Aruba – I got inspired from a Tag Heuer Edition Helmet I once saw on the web for the Paint Job, and the name of the bike came up during a very wet night of heavy drinking at my bar, the number 59 was a must do thing for me im a Big Fan of the Cafe Culture and with most of my other Bikes i like to keep it real in the essence of a real Cafe Racer.

The Goal was to get a more Sporty Lightweight Bike for the small island roads out of that heavy stock bike . So we ripped everything including Tach, Dash , fenders ,blinkers etc off the bike and start from there , it got completely uncorked and we fitted a NARC kit from New Bonneville, Rehntal Bars with Joker Performance Levers and Risers ,Kung Fu Grips from Biltwell, Progressive Front Fork Springs, Joker Machine Fork Brace ,Brass Gas Cap ,Ohlins Piggyback Shocks with Joker Machine Shock Bolt Trim Caps . Stock Headlight with Stone Guard and LSL Headlight mounting Bracket , Golden EK quadra x ring chain and Aluminum Sprocket from New Bonneville,D&D full Race TT Muffler System ,NGK Iridium Spark Plugs NGK Performance Wires,Pingle Petcock ,Bonneville Sixty8 Clear Tank Badge ,Rear Fender Eliminator Kit and Cat Eye Tail light. Paint job was done by my Buddy Alberto Arindel from Aruba.
