Spain based 8Negro Speed Parts was created by shoe designer Quique Berna three years ago. His aim is to sell his own high quality, hand made motorcycle accessories to the Cafe Racer scene, as Quique says, ‘making them so beautiful that convey something special as if they had soul’ – Quique is passionate about beautiful things and his passion for motorcycles is clear from the parts 8Negro manufacture. Which are sold exclusively via the Negro website and can be shipped worldwide.
When you check out the 8Negro website you will see that their list of aftermarket parts is extensive, ranging from fibreglass seats cowls, exhausts cans and light brackets to aluminium footrests, chain-guards, side covers and of course the “Little Bastard” which is 8Negro stubby mudguard.
The 8Negro Jarama and Assent seats apparently bolt straight on, directly replacing the stock item. Instantly transforming any Triumph Twin into an uber cool Cafe Racer. These seats are supplied in gloss black or unpainted, with either a brown or black seat covering.
If you are considering binning the stock rear mudguard, horrid tail light, ghastly indicators and chunky numberplate mount for something lighter, 8Negro also produce this very nice fender eliminator kit, which well worth taking a look at.
We at Bonneficaion think that these 8Negro’s parts look great! – As yet we have not tested or had a chance to take a closer look ourselves, something we hope to change in the near future. Prices seem comparable to those sold by LSL and Kompo-Tech. So well worth taking a look at if you are considering turning your Twin into a Cafe Racer.
